Bringing seasonal ingredients to the whole country...

We at Miura Suisan have been located directly in front of the Ito Fish Market for over 30 years, and because we have a 100-ton tank filled with directly pumped seawater, we are always able to keep our abalone, turban shells, and spiny lobsters fresh. With our many years of experience and track record, we purchase seasonal abalone, turban shells, and spiny lobsters not only from Ito but from all over the country. Our main business is to deliver these to major fish markets around the country, hotels and inns in Izu, and to sell directly to restaurants in the Tokyo metropolitan area. We also sell directly from the farm, shipping seafood caught at the Ito Fish Market directly to our customers.

Shipping to major markets nationwide​

Miura Suisan delivers fresh seafood not only to the Izu Islands and Shizuoka Prefecture, but also to major markets across the country.

Wholesale to hotels and restaurants nationwide

In addition to shipping to major markets, we also wholesale to hotels and restaurants throughout Japan on a daily basis. Some of our clients are famous hotels, and Miura Fisheries’ seafood is enjoyed by guests all over the country.

Production and sales of ultra-cooled series

We produce and sell the extremely popular super-chilled series in-house. The fish are vacuum-packed to preserve their freshness and frozen in alcohol at -24℃, so they can always be enjoyed fresh.

Operation of a business membership sales website

To make ordering easier, we operate a members-only online site for business use aimed at restaurant managers.

Operation of online site for the general public

We operate an online shopping site for the general public so that you can enjoy Miura Fisheries’ seafood at home. We also sell the extremely popular ultra-chilled seafood.

Since our establishment in 1971, we have been a specialist store of abalone, turban shells, and spiny lobsters, with the motto of delivering fresh, top-quality ingredients to our customers.

We started in Ito, not knowing what to do, but just working ourselves into it. Originally, we focused on wholesale to major markets across the country, but we started retail because we wanted to hear from our customers who deal directly with ingredients. We have come this far thanks to the support of our customers’ harsh yet kind words.

Many decades have passed since then, and we are now at a major turning point. This time, we would like to help our customers find the ingredients they are looking for. Using the experience we have gained from 30 years of wholesale to markets, we can confidently deliver fresh ingredients to customers in distant locations.

In the future, with an eye on the future of food culture, we will continue to make efforts to find ingredients from all over Japan and the world, while keeping our motto of delivering fresh, top-quality ingredients to our customers.
